Windows Explorer
Double clicking on the right bar separator of a column heading resizes the column to fit the longest entry.
To adjust all columns at once, hold down Control & Alt then press + on the numeric keypad.
Internet Explorer
In Win 98, to automatically insert "www." and ".com" around a site name, type the name, hold down Control then press Enter.
If IE suddenly starts saving .jpg files as .bmp files, clear the Temporary Internet files by clicking the button under "Tools" -> "Internet Options..." -> "General" -> "Delete Files...".
Word
To reveal the "Close All" and "Save All" options, hold down shift when clicking on the "File" menu.
